City-Mart Oriental Merchant Business Card Design, 2007

This is a business card was developed based on the given logo. It was a last minute job from the business owner, an elderly friend of mine. The turn over was quick and the client been very happy with the result. This project was then terminated as the business resolved for a cheaper solution for it’s business card.

Buddha Birthday Festival Poster, 2007

A poster design for an annual event took place every April, by a local religious organisation. It’s a community fair alike event, to celebrate the birth of Buddha (Vesak).

The design of this poster were based on a given colour theme, and Buddha image had been the focal point of design. It’s required to show as much activities took place on the event as possible, hence a montage of activity image had been used.

A poster is always a challenging design task, as a designer are required to incorporate logos and sign from various parties, together with placement of texts and imagery, leaving no rooms for breathing space.
